A Nevada lobbyist, Richard Perkins became the Chief of Police of the Henderson Police Department in 2006 and retired in 2008 after a 25 year law enforcement career. In addition, Richard Perkins won election to the Nevada State Legislature in 1992, where he served as Speaker of the Assembly from 2000 until 2006.
